Moana (Lake Brunner)
An optional 3 hour stopover
Lake Brunner is the West Coast’s water playground. TranzAlpine passengers returning to Christchurch later in the day can disembark here for a longer stopover rather than continuing on to Greymouth. Take some time out to enjoy a lake cruise, try your luck at some of the South Island’s best brown trout fishing, visit the local pottery, take a scenic flat plane flight, pause for leisurely lunch, or explore one of many walks in the area.
